Why I invest in Google, Facebook, Tencent, Apple and Amazon - The New Era of Online Video Streaming

Growing Online Video Streaming Behaviour

During this Covid-19 pandemic, more and more people are spending more time online.

And one of the things that they do online is to stream games and videos online.

Most of us watch Youtube videos in Malaysia.

Some of us have Netflix, iFlix, and Viu accounts.

Recently, my family bought a TV box. And I can watch iQiyi through it. Though I can't really all the Chinese words from that channel 😆

And some of the popular video streaming services continue to add more Monthly Active User (MAU) each month.

The growth is just astounding.

Because of this, I have made some investment in

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Tencent
  • Disney
  • Amazon*
  • Apple

*Invest through ETF.

I believe as more and more people are going online, the number of streaming hours will just increase.

This is one trend that will not slow down.

Online video streaming is just part of our daily lifestyle right now.

And with the government of Malaysia launching different free online internet data to us, we will just spend more time online.
